FLA Awards Franchisor of the Year – Overall Winner

On the 25th October, Creative Eateries was named the Overall Winner of the Franchisor of the Year award category in the 2018 FLA Awards Dinner, held at Mandarin Oriental.

 

The Franchising & Licensing Awards (FLA Awards) was launched by the Franchising and Licensing Association (FLA) Singapore in 2005 to recognise and honor outstanding achievers in the local franchise and license industry.
The Awards provide a platform to showcase successful franchise concepts and systems thus facilitating further developments of the franchise companies in the international arena.

 

 

CEO of Creative Eateries, Mr Anthony Wong began his journey in 1992 with Hot Stones Steak and Seafood Restaurant and has since developed more than 17 home-grown restaurants brands today with two catering arms. Brands like Suki-Ya, Bangkok Jam and Flaming Don has gained much popularity over the years and have successfully attracted both the local diners in Singapore and overseas interest for franchising.

 

In 2014, Creative Eateries has start its franchising journey with the opening of ROCKU Yakiniku in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ROCKU Yakiniku brand is a unique restaurantainment concept, melding a traditional style of Japanese dining with modern entertainment. Delivering a fresh concept to traditional Yakiniku joints, ROCKU Yakiniku defies convention by melding a traditional style of Japanese dining with modern entertainment, perfectly characterizing Japanese pop culture.

 

 

Guest can savour their food hot throughout the entire meal, and there’s no better way to enjoy the tantalizing cuts of meat, ranging from beef to pork and chicken. ROCKU also entertains and enthralls its guests with modern music.

 

With it’s one-of-a-kind concept, the brand has seen success both in Singapore and the region. Today, there are two outlets in Malaysia, and most recently one in Cambodia.
